| Gombe National Park is located in western Tanzania, along the shores of Lake Tanganyika. It's renowned as the site of Dr. Jane Goodall's groundbreaking chimpanzee research, which began in the 1960s and continues to this day. The park is one of the smallest national parks in Tanzania but is globally significant for its research on chimpanzees and its conservation efforts. | |
