Fremont County is a county in the state of Wyoming. According to the 2020 U.S. Census, the county had a population of 39,234. The county seat is Lander. Fremont County primarily comprises the Wind River Valley in western Wyoming. The county is bordered by the Wind River Range to the south and west, and the Owl Creek Range to the north. The county extends eastward through the Beaver Rim into central Wyoming.
