The 87-acre Wildcat Preserve includes managed pine/broadleaf forest, borders the Souhegan River, and features the famous Wildcat Falls. A Public Safety for Nature power line runs through the property, creating a great area for birdwatching and wild blueberry picking. A fire-cleared area offers stunning views of the Souhegan River and the chance to spot the rare American falcon and other wildlife.
Franklin Falls Dam is located on the Pemigewasset River in Franklin, New Hampshire. The dam was constructed between 1939 and 1943 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and spans 0.75 miles (1.21 km) across the river.
