| Morris Island is an uninhabited 840-acre (3.4 km²) island located in Charleston Bay in South Carolina, accessible only by boat. The island belongs to the cities of Charleston and Folly Beach, in Charleston County. The Morris Island Lighthouse is one of Charleston's most beloved landmarks. Its 161-foot (approximately 43 m) tall tower is famous as the tallest lighthouse in South Carolina. | |
