Moheli Marine Park is a protected area located in the Comoros Islands, specifically on the island of Moheli. It was established in 2001 and covers an area of approximately 400 square kilometers (154 square miles) of coastal and marine environments, including coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove forests.
The marine park is home to a diverse array of marine life, including more than 300 species of fish, sea turtles, dolphins, and humpback whales, which visit the area from July to September. The park also protects several endangered species, such as the coelacanth, a prehistoric fish that was thought to be extinct until it was rediscovered in the waters off the Comoros in the 1990s.

Visitors to the park can enjoy a range of activities, including snorkeling, diving, and boat tours. The park's coral reefs are some of the healthiest and most diverse in the Indian Ocean, with more than 300 species of coral recorded. In addition to its natural beauty, the park also plays an important role in the local economy, providing livelihoods for local communities through tourism and sustainable fishing practices.

Moheli Marine Park is a prime example of successful conservation efforts in the Comoros Islands, and it has been recognized as a model for community-based marine conservation in the region.
