Erdene Zuu Monastery is a historic Buddhist monastery located in Kharkhorin, Mongolia. The monastery was built in 1586 by Abtai Sain Khan, the ruler of the Khalkha Mongols, and is considered to be the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.
