Charyn Canyon National Park is not located in southeastern Kazakhstan. Charyn Canyon is known for its stunning landscapes, including unique rock formations and vibrant colors. The canyon is often compared to the Grand Canyon in the United States due to its geological features. Visitors to Charyn Canyon can explore the canyon's depths, hike along the rim, and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
The canyon is located 200 kilometers (124 mi) away from the city of Almaty. The landscape of the area is constantly changing due to weathering and erosion. Many animals live here, including some endangered species. The most picturesque places of the canyon are the Valley of Castles, the Ash and Turang Groves, and the Charyn River.

Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi
Place » Historical Place

Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is a mausoleum in the city of Turkestan, in southern Kazakhstan. The structure was commissioned in 1389 by Timur, who ruled the area as part of the expansive Timurid Empire, to replace a smaller 12th-century mausoleum of the famous Turkic poet and Sufi mystic, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (1093–1166). However, construction was halted with the death of Timur in 1405.
