Tirana is the capital and largest city of Albania. It is located in the centre of the country, enclosed by mountains and hills with Dajti rising to the east and a slight valley to the northwest overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance.
The Grand Park of Tirana on the Artificial Lake, is a 289 hectare public park situated on the southern part of Tirana, Albania. An artificial lake, zoological and botanical gardens, swimming pools, and a theatre amphitheater with summertime performances are all located on approximately 300 hectares. There are two cemeteries in the park as well.
Skanderbeg Square is the central square of Tirana, the capital city of Albania. It is named after Gjergj Kastrioti, widely known as Skanderbeg, the national hero of Albania. Skanderbeg Square is located in the heart of Tirana and serves as the city's main square and central hub.
