Vua Ham Nghi, whose birth name was Nguyen Phuc Ung Lich, was the 9th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. He was born on August 3, 1871, and ascended to the throne in 1884 at the age of 13. His reign was short-lived and marked by resistance against French colonial rule.

Vua Thanh Thai, whose full name was Nguyen Phuc Bu­u Lan, was the tenth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. He was born on March 14, 1879, and ruled from 1889 to 1907. Vua Thanh Thai ascended to the throne at a young age, only nine years old, after the death of Emperor Dong Khanh.
