| The pagoda was built in 1816 when the Khmer community was still present here, the founder was monk Xay Hath. Initially, the pagoda was built with mixed forest trees, thatched roof with an area of 2,500 m2. In 1866, monk Mai Panh repaired the pagoda, roofed it with leaves. In 1957, monk Mai Sete repaired the entire pagoda after the war. Next, the pagoda was restored many times and built according to Angkorian architecture and influenced by three cultural and religious streams: Folklore, Brahmanism and Buddhism, so it has a unique beauty and many aesthetic values. | |
