Sand Rock Farm is a bed and breakfast and wedding venue, owned and managed by the Hagglof family. Derek and Jen Hagglof, a chef and event planner from Tahoe City. Luz del Valle Farm grows over 20 varieties of apples on the Ranch. Many are multi-purpose, but can excel at specific uses. The U-Pick season starts on Labor Day and features the beautiful, tasty Galas. These are followed by the Fujis which begin to ripen the first week of October.
