San Luis Obispo County, often referred to as SLO County, is located on the Central Coast of California. It's known for its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, and rolling hills. As of the 2020 census, the population was 282,424. The county seat is the city of San Luis Obispo, which is home to California Polytechnic State University.
