Queen Elizabeth Parkk is a 130-acre municipal park located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on top of Little Mountain approximately 125 metres (410 ft) above sea level and is the location of former basalt quarries dug in the beginning of the twentieth century to provide materials for roads in the city.
Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver’s horticultural jewel, is a major draw for floral display enthusiasts and view-seekers, and as a popular backdrop for wedding photos. At 125 m above sea level, it’s the highest point in Vancouver and makes for spectacular views of the park, city, and mountains on the North Shore.
