Plumas County is a county located in the northeastern part of the state of California, United States. It is situated in the Sierra Nevada region and is bordered by Lassen County to the north, Sierra County to the south, Butte County to the west, and Nevada County to the southwest. As of the 2020 census, the population was 19,790.

Western Pacific Railroad Museum has 140 pieces of equipment and are a hands on museum. We also have a "Run-A-Locomotive" program where you can be the engineer for an hour.
