| Prasat Ta Muan Thom is part of a complex of three temples, which were important stops on the Ancient Khmer Highway that connected Angkor, the Khmer Empire's capital, to Phimai, a major administrative center (now in Thailand) . The other two temples in the group are Prasat Ta Muen Toch and Prasat Ta Muen. The temple was built between the 11th and 13th centuries by Udayadityavarman II and Jayavarman VII. It features a central square-shaped prang (tower) with a prominent projecting porch, constructed from laterite and sandstone. | |
