Minnesota, often referred to as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, is a state located in the Upper Midwest region of the United States. It is bordered by Canada to the north, Lake Superior and Wisconsin to the east, Iowa to the south, and North Dakota and South Dakota to the west. Its population was 5,737,915 in 2023.

Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo are a campground and zoo located in Olmsted County, Minnesota. It houses over 30 species of animals, most of which have injuries that would prevent them from surviving in the wild. All of the animals are native to Minnesota.
