Shoreline is a unique expression of what God is doing in and through our particular community. The goal is not to be exactly like other churches or movements, but they are informed by the work and ministry of other congregations. The church is highly focused on reaching the community, the greater Monterey area, for Jesus.

The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail is a scenic trail located along the coastline of Monterey Bay in California. The Trail stretches for approximately 18 miles along the coastline of Monterey Bay, starting from Castroville in the north and extending to Pacific Grove in the south. The trail passes through several coastal towns, including Marina, Seaside, and Monterey.

Steinbeck Plaza One is joined to Steinbeck Plaza Two by a replicated “cross-over” to the warehouse side of Cannery Row (which the canneries employed for shuttling cans). This uniquely historic feature provides access to Steinbeck Plaza One’s specialty shops, galleries, and gift shops.

The name “Coast Guard Pier” is actually somewhat of a misnomer since the “pier” is basically a concrete walkway/roadway built over a jetty/breakwater; it also has a cement wall that is approximately 30-inches high. Until a few years ago anglers could fish from that concrete wall.

McAbee Beach is a small, sandy beach located in Monterey, California. It is situated at the bottom of a steep staircase and can be accessed from Cannery Row, a popular tourist destination in Monterey. McAbee Beach is frequented by kayakers, scuba divers and families alike.

The Monterey County Youth Museum, located in Monterey, California, is a hands-on learning center for children and families. The museum features a variety of exhibits and programs designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and exploration in children. It provides an environment where curiosity and creativity flourish, while both children and adults discover the thrill of lifelong learning.

The Presidio of Monterey Museum exhibits lead visitors through Monterey's various stages of military development from the indigenous period which highlights the area's native populations; through the Spanish and Mexican periods; and up to present day.

The Colton Hall Museum provides a place for learning and enjoyment focused on its core exhibits as the site of California's 1849 bilingual constitution leading to statehood and one of California's first dedicated schools and town halls during the early America period.

The Monterey Museum of Art cultivates curiosity in the visual arts and engages community with the diversity of California art – past, present, and future. The Monterey Museum of Art is a collaborative center where art and community engage.

Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, California, is a historic waterfront area that has been a popular destination for tourists and locals alike for over a century. Old Fisherman's Wharf was built by the Pacific Coast Steamship Company in 1870 for the loading and unloading of passengers and goods. The city of Monterey took ownership in 1913.
