| The Maine Forest and Logging Museum is a non-profit historical museum located in Bradley, Maine. It was founded in 1960 to preserve Maine’s rich forestry and logging history through education, demonstration, preservation, and conservation; foster curiosity and enjoyment for all ages; and to inspire and encourage others to join the efforts. | |
| Located on Blackman Stream in Bradley, Leonard’s Mills is at the actual site of an early pioneer settlement, identified by the remains of a stone dam and the foundations of several houses. The steam Lombard log hauler is important as the first successful tracked vehicle and was patented in 1901 by Alvin Lombard of Waterville, Maine. These Maine built machines led the way for all modern tracked vehicles. | |
