| We started operation in May 2006 under the name Original Singapore Frog Porridge with three small eateries selling just the famous frog porridge. As times goes by more dishes were added and a 70 seater restaurant called d'coffeeshop was set up in Le Anh Xuan Street, Ho Chi Minh City to serve customers with our selections of authentic Singapore�s food. The new menu proved to be a hit with the locals and expats residing in the city. With dishes like bbq sambal sting ray, curry chicken, chilli crabs and many more to complement our signature frog porridge, the restaurant was soon filled with capacity crowd nightly. This prompt us to set up two more restaurant outlets in Ho Chi Minh City and also a name change to Lion City Cafe & Restaurant to reflect a more corporate and Singaporean image. On January 2009, a 200 seater flagship restaurant was build to replace the over crowded Le Anh Xuan restaurant and it is located just opposite the old site. The new four-story restaurant building comprise of a first level of dinning area which is both cosy and comfortable. This setting is repeated on the second level which is catered for non-smoking customers. The third level is the banquet room which can cater for events or seminars for up to 70 pax and the fourth level is a 100sqm kitchen. There is also an open air roof top seating which are ideal for bbq and private parties. At the moment we have sold 2 Franchise , our first Franchise in Phu My Hung which opened in August 2009. Our second Franchise outlet in Cong Hoa open on January 2010. Together with our Singaporean Head Chef, Mr Alvin Yap, a veteran with 20 years of experience around Asia and an extensive menu of more than 150 dishes, we are please to welcome you to our restaurants to try the difference; great tasting food with equally great services!
