Hau Giang is a province located in the Mekong Deltaregion in the southern part of Vietnam. It had a population of 986,792 in 2021. Vi Thanh is the capital of Hau Giang.

Phung Hiep Floating Market (Cho Noi Phung Hiep or Cho Noi Nga Bay), located in Ha­u Giang province, Vietnam, is a famous floating market in the Mekong Deltaregion. The Floating Market is situated on the Ha­u River, a major tributary of the Mekong River. It is located in Nga Bay town, which is approximately 30 kilometers northwest of Vi Thanh city, the provincial capital of Ha­u Giang.

Lung Ngoc Hoang Eco-Tourism Zone (Khu Bảo Tồn Thiên Nhiên Lung Ngọc Hoàng) is a nature reserve located in Phuong Binh, Phung Hiep, Ha­u Giang, Vietnam. It is about 40 km from the center of Can Tho city. Lung Ngoc Hoang means "Heaven's flooded lowland". It used to be called the "snake bowl" of the West (Southwest region). This is the largest forest in Hau Giang province.
