Huntington is a city located in the western part of West Virginia, along the Ohio River. It is the largest city in the Huntington-Ashland metropolitan area, which spans parts of West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. Huntington is known for its history in transportation, particularly as a hub for railroads and river commerce. The city had a population of 376,155 at the 2020 census.

The Museum of Radio Technology offers numerous displays and exhibits. It is the only such museum of its type within the state.

The Huntington Museum of Art includes American and European paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings, as well as glass pieces manufactured in West Virginia and the Ohio Valley.
