Hochosterwitz Castle is a medieval fortress located in the state of Carinthia, Austria. It is situated on a rocky outcrop, about 20 kilometers northeast of the city of Klagenfurt. The castle is one of Austria's most impressive and well-preserved medieval fortifications, known for its historical significance and stunning panoramic views.
