The Hollywood Sign is an American landmark and cultural icon overlooking Hollywood, Los Angeles. It is situated on Mount Lee, above Beachwood Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. The sign was placed in 1978 with a durable all-steel 45-foot-tall (13.7 m) structure and concrete footings.

Lake Hollywood Park is a community treasure located in the Hollywood Hills just below the Hollywood sign. The park consists of a large grassy field with trees lining the edges of the park. Lake Hollywood Park is a great place to picnic, do yoga, and of course take a classic picture in front of the Hollywood Sign. There are water fountains at the park, however there are no bathrooms. The park is open daily Sunrise to Sunset.
