Glass Beach is a popular attraction located in MacKerricher State Park, Fort Bragg, California, United States. It is a beach that is covered in small pieces of glass, which have been smoothed and polished by the ocean over time.
The glass found on the beach comes from years of dumping by residents and businesses in the area, who used to throw their trash and waste into the ocean. However, in 1967, the beach was closed to dumping and since then, the waves have pounded the discarded glass into smooth, colorful pieces that now cover the beach.

Today, visitors come from all over the world to see and collect the unique glass pieces that cover the beach. The glass comes in a variety of colors, including green, blue, clear, and purple, and many visitors enjoy searching for their favorite pieces among the sand.

The beach is located near MacKerricher State Park and is open to the public for free. However, visitors are asked to take only small amounts of glass as souvenirs and to respect the beach and its natural environment.
