Greenpoint is the northernmost neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The neighborhood has a large Polish immigrant and Polish-American community, containing many Polish restaurants, markets, and businesses, and it is often referred to as Little Poland. Its population was 34,719 in 2010.
Greenpoint, Brooklyn, blends old and new. Brooklyn is known for its mix of great food and fun activities. Quaint Polish restaurants sit next to modern eateries. Dip bars and cocktail lounges sit side by side, while chic boutiques sit next to antique stores. A few lovely parks round out the area.
