Ranch Falls, aka Long Falls, is a very spectacular tiered waterfall, consisting of a fabulous upper cascade of 74 ft., then a straight plunge of 83 ft. The lower plunge is difficult or impossible to view from above.

It covers an area of approximately 3,315 acres and is part of the larger Table Mountain Complex.

Phantom Falls, also known as Coal Canyon Falls, is a stunning waterfall located in the Oroville area of California. Phantom Falls is situated in the Table Mountain Ecological Reserve, which is northeast of Oroville and approximately 20 miles northeast of Chico. The waterfall is part of the diverse and scenic landscape of the reserve.

The Oroville Wildlife Area is over 11,000 acres of ripar­i­an wood­land habi­tat along the Feath­er Riv­er and grass­lands around the Ther­mal­i­to After­bay. Pop­u­lar activ­i­ties include fish­ing, wildlife view­ing, hunt­ing, and shoot­ing range.

Locat­ed at the south end of Lake Oroville, Loafer Creek Recre­ation Area has 137 tent camp­sites, each with park­ing, a table and a cook­ing stove. The facil­i­ty also includes a boat launch, restrooms, coin-oper­at­ed show­ers, drink­ing water, swim­ming, group sites, a dump sta­tion, and eques­tri­an and hik­ing trails. Trail­ers up to 31 feet and RVs up to 40 feet are wel­come.
