Ohio is a state located in the Midwestern region of the United States. It is the 7th most populous state in the country and has a diverse economy and rich history. It had a population of nearly 11.8 million. The capital of Ohio is Columbus, which is also the largest city in the state. Other major cities include Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Dayton.

Battelle Darby Creek features 7,358 acres of forest, prairies and wetlands. It stretches along 13 miles of the Big and Little Darby creeks, both State and National Scenic Rivers. Besides the areas surrounding the creeks, there are also over 1,600 acres of restored wetlands and prairies. Bison have been reintroduced to the park and roam freely within two enclosed pastures.
