Graton is an unincorporated town and census-designated place in west Sonoma County, California. It sits at an elevation of 108 ft (33 m). The population was 1,683 at the 2020 census. The town of Graton is roughly 20 miles (32 km) from the California coastline. Graton's agriculture was historically concentrated on apple farming, but like most of rural Sonoma County it now focuses on wine production.
