In the past, Ke Trai was the name of a hamlet in front of the gate where there were the Moi market, Hang Be, Dong Hoi town. Traders from the north brought goods here for trading, they built low-roofed shacks along the banks of the river, the locals often called Ke Trai, from which the northeastern gate was also called Ke Trai or Trai gate. | |
