The old vine Zinfandel was retained, and the other vineyards replanted with the best varieties and clones.

Plymouth, located in Amador County, California, is a historic city with roots tracing back to the Gold Rush era. Originally known as Puckerville, Pokerville, and Poker Camp, it was settled as a mining camp over 150 years ago by quartz miner Green Aden and his associates. The population was 1,078 at the 2020 census.
