Cao Lanh is the capital city located in Dong Thap province, in the Mekong Deltaregion of Vietnam. The city is situated in the eastern part of Dong Thap province, bordered by the Tien River to the north and the Hau River to the south. It is approximately 170 kilometers southwest of Ho Chi Minh City.
