Boiling Springs Lake, located within Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California, is a unique geothermal feature and one of the park's highlights. It is one of several hydrothermal hikes available in Warner Valley, a quiet meadow and forest landscape tucked away from the main park road in the southeast corner of Lassen Volcanic National Park.
- The lake is one of the largest hot water lakes in the world, with temperatures averaging 125–190°F (52–88°C) near its edges. Heat from volcanic activity below keeps the lake in a constant state of bubbling and steaming, with visible fumaroles (steam vents) along its shoreline.

- The lake's milky blue-green hue is due to suspended minerals and the chemical reactions of the hot water. Surrounding mud pots and fumaroles create a surreal, otherworldly landscape.

-The area is rich with sulfur, giving it a characteristic "rotten egg" smell. It is part of the park's larger geothermal system, which includes Bumpass Hell and Sulphur Works.
