Happy Boulders The Volcanic Tableland offers exceptional bouldering opportunities. 750,000 years ago, cataclysmic volcanic eruption of the Long Valley Caldera created unique geologic features along the Bishop Tuff. Through time, this once barren tableau has evolved to support a unique and fragile environment that takes a keen eye and time to appreciate.

The campsites at Rock Creek Lake sit on a low hill overlooking the lake with great views and a few trees. This 28 unit campground is a perfect location for limitless mountain recreation opportunities including fishing, camping, hiking and horseback riding at the nearby pack station.

The easy access to this beautiful chain of lakes make Little Lakes Valley popular for fishing, day hikes and beginning backpackers. Glaciers carved this extensive chain of lakes, both large and small.

The Bishop City Park is a 44 acre park located in the center of downtown Bishop including a community garden, an arboretum, a pond, (2) gazebos and a dog park. Also, (4) baseball fields, (2) children’s play structures, (4) tennis courts, a public pool, an outdoor fitness center and a bocce court.
