Boulder City is a town in Clark County, Nevada. It is approximately 26 miles (42 km) southeast of Las Vegas. As of the 2020 census, the population of Boulder City was 14,885. Boulder City is one of only two places in Nevada that prohibits gambling, the other being the town of Panaca.

Hoover Dam is a remarkable engineering marvel located in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, near Boulder City, Nevada. It is situated on the border between the states of Nevada and Arizona, spanning the Colorado River and forming Lake Mead, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the United States.
