Beatson Falls is a waterfall located in Butte Valley, California, United States. The waterfall is located in a remote area of the valley and requires a challenging hike to access it. Beatson Falls is one of the two nicest and most spectacular falls on the Table Mountain Wildlife Area in Oroville.
The hike to Beatson Falls is approximately 8.5 miles round-trip, and it is rated as difficult due to the steep terrain and elevation gain. The trailhead is located off of Butte Valley Road and is accessible only by four-wheel drive vehicles.

The waterfall itself is approximately 100 feet tall and is fed by the seasonal Beatson Creek. The best time to visit the falls is in the spring when the snowmelt creates a strong flow of water.

If you plan to hike to Beatson Falls, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure. Additionally, make sure to follow Leave No Trace principles to help preserve the natural beauty of the area.
