Five Canyons Park is a 300-acre open space located in Castro Valley, California. The park features: five miles of trails, including a vital segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail1, several miles of internal loop trails for hiking and biking, and a connection to Hayward Area Recreation District parks and Don Castro Regional Park.

Cull Canyon Regional Recreation Area includes a fishing lake and a separate 1.5acre swim lagoon that resulted from damming San Lorenzo Creek. The swim area has a bathhouse, lawns, sandy beaches, and lots of shallow water for kids.

Castro Valley is a census-designated place in Alameda County, California. As of the 2010 census, it is the fifth most populous unincorporated area in California and the twenty-third most populous in the United States. The population was 66,441 at the 2020 census.

Lake Chabot Regional Park is a beautiful, year-round public campground, a marksmanship range, and 70 miles of hiking and riding trails make Chabot one of the District's most varied parklands.
