Hoover is a city in the Jefferson and Shelby counties in north central Alabama. It sits at an elevation of 495 ft (151 m). Hoover is the largest suburban city in Alabama. The population was 92,606 at the 2020 census. Community parks provide a variety of fitness and recreation opportunities.
