There are really two piers here. One pier is the remains of the actual Veterans Court Pier, an old stub of a pier that sits perpendicular to the water. The second pier is the wooden walkway that parallels the water and sits, for the most part, underneath the Bay Farm Island/Doolittle Bridge, the bridge that crosses the channel.
