Pinecrest Lake has been beloved for generations! With swimming, boating, hiking, camping and an outdoor amphitheater in the summer it is easy to see why! Visit in the winter to snowshoe and build snowmen! It is also dog friendly, but pets are not permitted within the Day Use Area between May 15th and September 15th.

Moccasin Creek Hatchery is a trout hatchery in the Mother Lode foothill region of the western Sierra Nevada range. Don Pedro Reservoir is minutes away, as well as the Red Hills Interpretive Trail. Yosemite National Park is about 1 hour east of this visitor-friendly fish hatchery.
Tuolumne County, officially the County of Tuolumne, is a county located in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 55,620. The county seat and only incorporated city is Sonora. The northern half of Yosemite National Park is located in the eastern part of the county.
