Amager Beachpark is a seaside public park in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on the island of Amager and includes an artificial island and offers a total of 4.6 km (2.9 mi) of beaches. From the beach, the Middelgrunden wind farm can be seen on the horizon.
Amager is Denmark's most densely populated island. It had 225,746 inhabitants in January 2025. Sea and nature meets the city! Amager is so much its own creature and yet still such an integral part of the city. Consisting of a few areas, incuding East Amager, Islands Brygge and Ørestad. Gastronomy, liveability and life on the water is booming out here!
Bjarke Cirkelsten was born during "Den Store Troldefolkefest", which is the name of the project that arose due to Covid-19. Thomas Dambo should actually have built 25 trolls around the world, but due to the pandemic, Thomas flew to Denmark, where the troll folk party was created with the help of a lot of volunteer labor from locals around Denmark.
