Cobbosseecontee Lake is a lake located in the towns of Litchfield, Manchester, Monmouth, West Gardiner, and Winthrop in the U.S. state of Maine. It is the largest lake in the Winthrop Lakes Region at 100 feet (30 m) deep, covering about 8.7 square miles (23 km2) in surface area, a length of 9 miles (14 km), and a shoreline of 62 miles (100 km).
DEW Haven | Maine Zoo & Rescue operates as a small non-profit, family run zoo, in Maine. After years of blood, sweat, tears, and laughter—DEW is now a haven to over 150 animals from all over the world. The staff strives to educate the community about the animals, in hopes to help people understand animals futures are everyone's responsibility.
Kennebec County is a county located in the South-central portion of the U.S. state of Maine. At the 2020 census, the population was 123,642. Its county seat is Augusta, the state capital. The county is nearly bisected by the Kennebec River, which also forms parts of the county line in the north and south of the county.
