The Whittier Narrows Nature Center is a nature preserve located in South El Monte, California. The center covers over 400 acres and is situated within the larger Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, which offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and picnicking.
American Military Museum exhibits the largest inter-service collection in the Western States. Over 170 pieces of military equipment on display. The museum is all outdoors.
