Peña Cortada is a spectacular Roman aqueduct located in the Valencia region of Spain, specifically near the towns of Chelva and Calles. Built in the 1st century AD, it is one of the most impressive examples of ancient hydraulic engineering in the country. The aqueduct features tunnels carved into rock, impressive bridges, and a dramatic vertical rockface.
