Santa Margarita Lake is a lake several miles southeast of the town of Santa Margarita in San Luis Obispo County, California. Santa Margarita Lake has plenty of wildlife and open space which makes for the perfect place to fish, hike, picnic or camp. The area is accessible to hikers, bicyclists and equestrians.
Soda Lake is a shallow, ephemeral, alkaline endorheic lake in the Carrizo Plain in southeastern San Luis Obispo County, California. The Soda Lake Watershed lies in the eastern portion of San Luis Obispo's North County region and includes the northern portion of the Carrizo National Monument.
