Wolf Connection is a unique educational sanctuary and wilderness retreat center that brings people together through direct relationship with rescued wolves for the purpose of empowering the next generation to become authentic leaders and stewards of the earth.
The Chilao Visitor Center is located on State Highway 2, about 27 miles north of the city of La Canada, CA (off Interstate 210). At an elevation of 5,280 feet, it is nestled in a beautiful portion of the Angeles National Forest and Admission is free. The Center offers an introduction to the Forest through a variety of exhibits, trails and activities.
The Silver Moccasin Trail is 14.2 miles long. It begins at West Fork Campground and ends at Three Points/PCT junction. The trail is open for the following uses: Horseback Riding and Camping.
Chilao campground has 83 single-family campsites in 2 loops up in the Angeles National Forest at 5,300 feet. The campground is first-come first-serve (no reservations), with the exception of 1 reservable group campsite. The campground has drinking water and vault toilets.
