| The Huron Harbor Lighthouse, located in Huron, Ohio, was built in 1936 and stands 72 feet (21 meters) tall. It marks the entrance to Huron Harbor and was constructed of steel, replacing earlier wooden structures that had been destroyed by storms. The lighthouse was automated in 1972 and features a solar-powered beacon visible from a distance of 12 miles (34 km), flashing red every six seconds. | |

| The Vermilion Lighthouse is located on the shore of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio. The lighthouse is situated near the mouth of the Vermilion River. The current lighthouse is a 10.4-meter (34-foot) tall replica of the original Vermilion Lighthouse, which was dismantled in 1929 and subsequently moved to Lake Ontario. | |
