Grant-Valkaria is a town in Brevard County, Florida. It is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville. The town's population was 4,509 as the 2020 census, up from 3,850 at the 2010 census. The town offers a long history along the banks of the Indian River Lagoon.
Also known as the Benson House, the Grant Historical House is situated on seven acres of riverfront land and is the first house in the town of Grant. Built in 1916, this pre-cut home arrived by riverboat from Jacksonville, Florida and was the former home of Atley and Clara Christensen Bensen, a pioneer family of Grant.
Featuring the Grant Historical House, this scenic 7.48-acre community park situated along the Indian River is a perfect wayside stop for travelers and a convenient site for community events. The shaded pavilion with restrooms nearby, path and boardwalk invite picnics and leisurely strolls, and the 200' pier is popular for people who like to fish.
