The Milwaukee County Zoo is a popular zoological park located in the southwestern part of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The zoo was opened to the public in 1958. It has since grown to become one of the largest and most well-regarded zoos in the United States. The Milwaukee County Zoo houses over 2500 animals representing 300 species on 200 acres.
