Coit Tower is a well-known landmark in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, California, located on top of Telegraph Hill. It is a 210-foot tall tower that offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the surrounding bay. It is also known as the Lillian Coit Memorial Tower.

Pioneer Park, the five-acre park that surrounds Coit Tower, was created as a result of a great storm. In 1870, torrential rain and high winds destroyed the old signal station at the summit of Telegraph Hill, leaving four hilltop lots vacant.
Telegraph Hill is one of the most beautiful, panoramic vantage points in San Francisco, offering breathtaking views of the Bay. It is one of San Francisco's 44 hills, and one of its original "Seven Hills". It sits at the elevation of 285 ft (87 m).
