Blairsden is a small, picturesque community in Plumas County, California, located within the scenic Mohawk Valley and nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The population was 39 at the 2010 census, down from 50 at the 2000 census. Together with its neighbor, Graeagle, Blairsden serves as a gateway to numerous outdoor activities and attractions in the region.
Plumas-Eureka State Park was established in 1959, and provides visitors with a glimpse into a fascinating period of California history. The focal point of the park is the museum building and historic area surrounding it.
